I have not heard that "epsom'salt" cause varicose veins.Be careful though to much salt of any kind is not good.Also I am going to try a remedy of honey,and cinnamon mixed with warm water and see if it helps.I need to go and buy the honey at the Golden Farms Orchard as they have the wild clover honey which this honey is in it's natural state with no additives.Then have to go online and bring up the info on this and the correct amounts of the honey.water and ground cinnamon. to barbles2413 and anyone else with arthritis: Two tablespoons of honey,one teaspoon cinnamon powder mixed in a cup of hot water taken in the morning and again at night.Haven't tried but have read reports on this and allot of people are having success with this and i think it may be worth a try.Mongainchrist
