I take thyrolar 1 x a day have been on it for about a year, but still have fatigue, dry skin and cannot lose weight but sure can gain it!
Does cytomel have to be taken with another throid med or is it taken by itself?

It can be taken alone or with another medication. Ask your doctor if you're concerned. As for the side effects, Increased Appetite, Weight loss (Which is the most common) and others. So you probably gained your weight do to the Increased Appetite. I hope this helps. Have a Happy Holiday!
