Does creatine have a shelf life?

I have a large container of creating that I bought roughly 3 years ago. I have started lifting weights again and would like to use it. My container does not have an expiration date on it. What are the cons of taking creatine past the typical expiration time line ?

Look good and hard for an exp date,simetimes they put it in the strangest places.Im not sure so if I was you id call a health suppliment store they should be able to tell you.

If you can not find a expiration date then try to think how long you have had it,if its been more then a year then throw it away,hope this helps
