Two clicks of 30 mg/ml cream recommended starting seven days after I started my period. 51 years old. First heavy period in a few months. Have had lighter periods that really didn't get started in mid August and late September. I know this time I ovulated due to tell-tale sign of clear mucus about two weeks ago. Don't want to mess up my Lamictal level (300 mg daily taken as 200 mg in AM and 100 mg in afternoon) because it is starting to work as antidepressant somewhat and I'm improving. Also tapering slowly from benzodiazepines right now (Ativan). Take 50 mg Seroquel and 0.5 mg Klonopin for sleep. Considering adding 5-HTP to the mix right before bedtime on empty stomach as an alternative to Prozac (which I believe makes me more anxious) and I'm just confused and don't want to mess up the Lamictal level since it seems to be helping. Haven't actually been tested for progesterone but thyroid is okay.
Does compounding pharmacy's progesterone cream affect levels of Lamictal or other drugs?
