Does claritan contain sudafed?

Sudafed is a completely different drug it contains pseudoephridrine, Claritan is a drug than contains 24 hour dosing of 10mg of Loratidine, the Sudafed is more of a decongestant whereas I think the claritan has an antihistamine which treats multiple symptoms runny nose, sneezing etc.

Plain Claritin does not have pseudoephedrine in it but Claritin D does. Claritin D is a combination of Loratadine and pseudoephedrine. Claritin D has to be asked for at the pharmacy counter though due to it's containing pseudoephedrine. If you are buying just plain Claritin off the shelf-it has only the loratidine. Hope this helps!
