Is citicoline a blood thinner?
8 Sep 2010
It perhaps could be used as a blood thinner; it is also given for immediate treatment of stroke due to a clot (ischemic stroke): 500-2000 mg of citicoline per day starting within 24 hours of stroke.
Please seek more accurate information from the doc/pharmacist who prescribed the med, take care & be well.
