Does Canada have a generic for Boniva?

There are currently no generic Boniva products available on the market. The patent for the medication does not expire until March 2012 - after this time companies can start manufacturing generic Boniva.
Until then you should not purchase any so-called "generic Boniva" because these products may be fake, substandard, and potentially dangerous.
