Does BCG side effect last for several weeks. Should it be givene with genatmycin?

The BCG vaccine side-effects usually improve after a few days. You should see your doctor if the side-effects are not going away.
Rarely, a tuberculosis-like infection can develop. This requires treatment with an anti-tuberculosis medication (not gentamycin)
The choice of treatment depends on the stage of the tumor, the severity of the symptoms, and the presence of other medical conditions.
The BCG vaccine has been shown to be effective for treating some non-muscle invasive bladder cancers.
