As long as the PSA numbers are coming down, I assume this means that the Avodart is working.

The maker of Avodart, Smith/Kline, say on their website it's slow acting. I've been taking it 4-5 years now and I can say it sure is slow. But it works. I would not assume, if I were you, that it works because your PSA score is falling as taking Avodart halves your score automatically. In other words your real PSA is double what it is currently.
What is important in my experience is how well I can urinate. I am extremely pleased with my performance. If only it did not whack my libido!
