I began taking Tekturna more than a year ago and have noticed a dramatic change in my skin. I have been diagnosed or possibly been misdiagnosed as having Melasma which is believed to be related to an imbalance in hormones but according to this website twenty-six other cases of edema involving the face, hands, or whole body were reported with aliskiren use, including four which led to discontinuation. Has anyone else out there experienced a sudden darkening of the skin, mainly face, forehead and neck while taking this medication?
