I heard that the pharmacutical companies were pulling certain morphine drugs like Avinza and some others, but Im not sure what the names of the other drugs were or what the reason was?

I was on 120 mg avinza,i could no longer afford it so my dr. switched me to 50mcg fentanyl patch?
this doesnt help. could it be that its just not strong enough compared compared to the 120 mg avinza? does anyonr know how to figure this out? thanks ...

I just spoke with my pharmacist and she said that she was not aware that Avinza had been puuled.
You might be thinking of the recent change to oxycontin. The formula was changed to make it impossible for abusers to crush and snort or shoot it. There are no generics available as of yet. I used to take oxycontin and now I cannot tolerate this new formula it makes me very ill. I stopped taking it and I now rely on oxy ir but I am in terrible pain. I took avinza six years ago for a short time and I would like to go back to that if my doctor would agree. He keeps telling me to give it some time and I will get used to the new oxycontin. It has been three months. I need help now I used to take 80mg three times a day I was hoping someone could suggest a dosage of avinza that would give me the relief I used to get from the oxycontin.
