Monnie2Because of joint discomfort, I reduced the frequency of Crestor I was taking from 7 days to every other day during the week (3-4 total per week); however, my cholesteral started to climb. Within the past month, I have begun taking Welchol also. I take two at lunch and two at dinner. This combined with the Crestor has lowered my cholesteral considerably in only one month. Is there a downside to this regimen?
Does anyone have experience taking Welchol and Crestor together for cholesterol?

It's unfortunate that no one responded. I personally don't know of anyone taking Welchol and Crestor together. There isn't any known interaction between these two medicines so it should be fine to take together. All the best.
