Wafers are the name brand Klonopin. Clonazepam is the generic and you just swallow those. They both work.
Thank you ...now??? how do i go about asking my doctor to switch me from regular Klonopin 2mg to Klonopin Wafers???
Robert - wrong answer - the Klonopin wafer is different than the tablet - generic has nothing to do with it. Klonopin is the brand name - to answer the question - the wafer is faster acting and doesnt have to have the first pass metabolism of the liver - so can be more effective.
