My mother has a trach and is using albuterol with treatment and they are wanting to had mucomyst.
Do You mix a bronchodilator with the mucomyst to give for inhalation?

Yes, Mucomyst can be added to albuterol for inhalation. There are no known interactions between these medicines.
I don't know what your doctor has recommended ... to add both of them together or to inhale one and then inhale the other. I would suggest to inhale one and then inhale the other.
