Has a doctor prescribed this for you?
Bactrim is not typically used to treat menstrual acne.
Birth control pills to control hormone fluctuations and / or spironolactone are often prescribed.
Antibiotics prescribed for acne need to be taken constantly.
Bactrim is available as a tablet, liquid (for children) and injection.
