I have been using Ortho-Evra patch and my insurance now has a big copay for it (75.00 per month). I am interested in Mirena because the insurance covers it and i like the idea of not having to remember a pill. I have had no side effects from the hormones in the Ortho-Evra (estrogen and loestrin) and I read that Mirena has loestrin in it. Has an one else gone from the patch to Mirena? and have u had any side effects?
Do u find the side effects of Mirena to be different than those using hormones?
