Do severe sinus infections benefit from a 2nd round of Z-pak?

I had a severe sinus infection a month ago that improved with Z-pak, but did not entirely clear. A month later, it is back. Would I benefit from a double dose of Z-pak? I can tolerate it well, as opposed to having bad side effects from other meds like Augmentin and Levaquin.
