Sorry so late answering... it took about 7 months i think? But i took it over the prescribed dose, which i wouldn't recommend!!! It did take me only 3/4 months to put it all back on when i stopped! And i had to stop as it messed my head up pretty well!

I have been on both before. I do agree Tramadol does make you lose weight drastically and you lose alot of your taste from it therefor you don't want to eat, losing weight. Though the Flexeril does not have this effect it is very helpful with the muscle pain and spasms. Good luck on the Tramadol it is addicting despite what the doctors say. Actually anything can be very addictive if not taken appropriately, but the Tramadol is addicting fast especially if you need alot of it. Good luck bido.

Thank you for your answer. I don't need to lose or gain. Appreciate the input.
Just a little more input. I was not taking any other medication. The only change I made to my lifestyle was Tramadol. No excercise, no change in diet, I just was never hungry while taking Tramadol. I went to my Dr., full physical... nothing going on organically, it had to be the pill. I am tapering off and almost completely done with it and I am gaining the weight right back, thank god.
Glad you are better. Why were you taking Tramadol, if I may be so bold to ask? You found it to be addictive? That is quite disconcerting since the drug companies boast that it is not...
I started taking it for relief from a car accident. I had kidney stones at about the same time and things got out of control. I started ordering it online and quickly became addicted. Tapering is working for me and I hope to be completely off of it in about a month or less. Everyone is telling me that I am tapering too fast, so I may drag it out a bit, but I will never buy another pill.
hi
i have always known Tramadol to course weight loss and they do kill your appetite alone with many other things.
have you been back to see your GP about this matter and told them about your weight loss? has i know that they should be checking up on you now and then because of the tramadol if not make yourself an appointment to get yourself checked out.
best wishes
