... it yet-stent has to be 1 yr old before leaving off Plavix & ASA. I think the leg problems are compounded by something else that I am taking, like either the Diovan or the Zocor? Does anyone have any thoughts on that?

Zocor is a statin medication, isn't it?
Statins are known for causing leg pain. I started taking one and was having pain, and didn't attribute it to that until I heard an ad for it and they recited (very quickly) the possible side effects, and then I recalled that I had heard that before. My dad ended up having the same problem and had to stop taking it.

kim, I think you have the Diovan confused with Darvon. I did see the info on the harmful effects of Darvon/Darvocet which has been used for a long long time for the relief of pain. The Diovan that I take is an antihypertensive. Thanks anyway.

I have severe muscle cramps, no I would say muscle spasms in my legs and feet. Sometimes under my jaw and my neck. They usually do not last more than 10 min or less. I take both diovan and tekturna for high blood pressure and tricor for cholesterol and triglycerides.Anyone else with these symptoms?
