i had an addiction to dilaudid 8's ,oxy contin and morphine of all kinds ,and am currently being treated with methadone. i have been on methadone for about a year and have been clean of narcotics for 6 monthes..BEWARE , if you have an addiction and also have young kids in your care, be careful who you talk to about your problem.. when i tried to get help for my addiction the childrens aid Society got involved and almost destroyed my family !! no questions asked ! they tested me and as soon as they had the proof of what i had already told them what was in my system, they almost put my kids in foster care. it was only thanks to my inlaws for taking us all in that our family remained in one piece ! Talk to someone you trust and always ask what will happen if you have small kids..
