This is the dosage guideline for bromocriptine when prescribed for hyperprolactinemia. Dose may change depending on your response, etc. So please follow your doctors instructions.

Usual Adult Dose for Hyperprolactinemia

Initial: 1.25 mg to 2.5 mg orally daily.
Titration: Add 2.5 mg orally, as tolerated, to the treatment dosage every 2 to 7 days.
Maintenance: 2.5 mg to 15 mg orally daily.
