I've been on 40mgs of Crestor for 3 weeks. I have had diarrhea more than not along with bad stomach pains. Should I cut it in half?

Hi,
I'm on Crestor as well but at a lower dose. I haven't had any side effects but I was wondering if you started at 40 mg or did you gradually work up? I don't know if it makes a difference but it might be a question for your doc if going right onto the highest dose could cause and/or make worse side effects.
Take care, Ade

Yeah, I have to call the doctor. He isn't in because of the holiday and I don't think it's an emergency. For now I think I will cut the pills in half, till I can an appointment.. Thanks for your help:)
