I've recently started taking d-amphetamine salt combo, 20mg (half in morning & half at 1pm). I am dead-beat exhausted by 4pm and am experiencing joint pain. I practically feel I've aged 30yrs, I'm so tired! Is the dosage too little, too much or just plain wrong for me?

I will be discussing with my PCP, but she isn't that familiar with ADHD and any help/ research I can offer is always helpful!

Hey Jafega,
The recommended dose for adults is 20 mgs/day. Though I'll point out that the extended release formula comes in a 25 mg and a 30 mg pill. You may benefit from the extended release formula of this medication which would be taken only in the morning and last all day long.
