Hello, you may want to call your local community mental health center (CMHC) who should be able to direct and or assist or both, irregardless ability to pay. A helpful website to locate one in your local community is: www.needymeds.com They have a section that can assist you in your search for your local CMHC. Hope that this helps, best regards, clm.

Ok so there's no one good answer to your question here. But there are lots of options to try.
I have bipolar depression and I'm starting to realize that untreated depression is one of the biggest problems that not many people are doing anything about. I just did a little bit of research on some things that may help you or at least won't hurt you to try. If you have any questions please let me know. I'm not a doctor and i can't help you directly, but i will try to lead you in the direction of someone who will be able to help you out.
-So first i found this site where you enter your zip code and they give you the nearest-by free (or low-cost) clinics:
I just came across this site tonight but I looks like it may have loads of help on it if you just kinda go through and check out what all it has to offer (Which from what I saw includes: info on depression, management of it, and connection to people with, and experts of, the illness.)
-Also, http://www.WebMD.com has lots of info about depression and links to even more info and possible help for you.
-Last, there are lots of "home" or "natural" remedies that people have used in the past to help ease the effects of depression. Most are not "scientifically proven" to help, but if you research them, there are a lot of people who the remedies have worked for. And it can't hurt to try, ya know?
SO... let me know if any of these catch your eye. Again, any questions let me know.
You're in my prayers. God bless.
