I know this a silly question, but does Depakote ER, really cause people to gain soooo much weight... This is my first time on it, I am on a dosage of Keppra as well... Thanks! :]

Honestly seymour93, it did put a stack of weight on me, and there is no denying that you have a hard time keeping your hand out of the refrigerator. To get the weight off, I made the unfortunate mistake of coming off of it, to my detriment - but I got the weight off in any event. I have resumed taking it for the past 14 months, but I calorie-count like a hawk, and this way you CAN keep the weight off. But it takes a bit of effort.
