I have been taking above since August for Grand-Mal seizures. Immediately after I seemed to have developed major gastrointestinal problems..i.e. loose bowels and diarreah.. Tried taking at different times and with food etc.. no help.
Has anyone experienced this- any advice? I'd hate to switch medications when it seems to be preventing the seizures but this side effect is truly getting out of control.. feel like I have the stomach FLU most of time.. : ((

You're feeling like this because BOTH of those meds cause diarrhea and nausea. Since you've tried taking them with food and that didn't work, the only other suggestion I'd have for you is to suggest taking them with milk...it seems to coat the stomach and helps some people digest them better. Hope this helps!
