I was on norco 10/325 for knee and back pain, can darvon be a substitute for pain and better thn vivadin or norco

No, darvon is rarely prescribed anymore because tylenol has a higher pain killing strength. Propoxyphene (darvon,darvocet ect) can be dangerous if you take to much. Hydrocodone isn't a very good long term pain killer as you grow tolerant to it quicly. If this is chronic pain then you should try a sustain release opiate like ms contin ect... Dave
