That normally isn't prescribed for indigestion or gas pain. You may call your doctor to see if they will prescribe something else, but usually they don't prescribe opiates or opoids for what you are saying you took darvocet for. There are anti gas meds that you should probably take to help with that. You also might try prilosec otc to see if that will help.
