Darvocet-N 100 - if I am in recovery from alcohol, what is another medicine I can take for pain?

to tell you the truth Darvocet N is so weak I woudn't worry about becoming addicted to it. I was a VERY HEAVY DRINKER,I'm talking about knocking down 3/4 of a liter of vodka a day and its amazing I'm alive. It took my best friend & drinking buddy who he and I drank just as much and it could just as easily had been me who was in the box. I went to his funeral smashed for gods sake. But after that I went to my boss and told her I've been drinking too much and needed to go to treatment,unfortunetly insurance companys only pay for a week. But I really wouldn't worry because the amount of Darvocet N it would take for you to feel " euphoric" the tylonol would do a number on your liver,and with the prior drinking it's probably not in tip top shape to start. There is tramadol which might be a better fit for you because anyone who drinks alot should avoid tylonol in general.

tramadol is more addictive and powerful than darvocet so i wouldnt reccomend that either
Look,I'm on, been, on & will be on the heavys of narcoticts,I 100mg. M.S Contin,8mg Diluadid & all that oxy crap,so all I was saying is tylonol is hell on your liver & if your going to need a pain killer for the rest of your life stay the F away from the ones I'm on & yes tramadol is addictive(so I've heard) I was on the crap & could have dropped it like asprin. Yes I understand it effects people differently,but the stuff I'm on YOU WILL BE TRUELY ADDICTED that you'll put a gun in your mouth if you don't have it! I'm surprised I'm alive the shi* is evil & I'm still trying to figure a way out cuz I do have very,very bad pain from two neck operations,so all I was saying is tylonol is bad. They gave me tramadol it didn't do shit
so I guess I never got really "hooked" on it. Make your own choice,wreck your liver,or take a pain med u need anyway. I am sorry because I forgot the specifics of the question,but I'm on 8 8mg Diluaudid a day now & it's not a very good life.
