I stopped taking darvocet N100 right away when I read in the paper is was dangerous. I had been taking this drug for 7 years because of back and leg pain. I am now experiencing panic attacks and anxiety and wonder is this withdrawal. I took 1 a day.

Hi lizzie,
It sounds like you are in withdrawal, yet if panic attacks are all you are experiencing consider yourself lucky indeed. Call your doc and ask for a benzodiazapine like Ativan, Xanax or Valium. If taken for a short while these meds can alleviate the anxiety you are having. They are addictive, so do take care.
Wishing you all the best,

Hi lizzie: I can remember the FDA trying to get "Darvon" etc. off the shelves as early as the 1950's. Chrissy & Sweety have always got the best in info for anyone.Pay attention to 'em, nobody else does... "just kidding"... "just kidding"... It's gettin' late , i'd better get ta' bed 'for I get in trouble "LOL"!
If you feel bad, in any way, call a Lawyer also. There are lawsuits going all over , against Darvon or Darvocet. "Nighty nite"! Sacosam
sacosam,
You are killin' me!!! chris is indeed very smart, and you are right no one pays any mind to me, perhaps one person...
LOL
Lara
Oh c'mon now lemon wedge: Looks to me like you got a case of the "poor me's"... You surely must know I was joking ! ! Sacosam

Hi there SL. It does sound like wd symptoms for sure. It's a good thing she stopped this med as it's being discontinued as we speak. I just wonder what will replace this med? Too many recalls and not enough good, safe meds being manufactured. Have a good day! :-)
chris
chris,
Would Vicodin be a good replacement med for Lizzie???
SL
That may work. It's been around for decades and relatively safe. I know, addicting. But what isn't these days? You drink enough coffee or coke every day, quitting that can cause wd's too. If I don't have my morning coffee, it messes me up for the rest of the day.
yeah, chris I thought you were going to commit husbandicide that one morning when J had not gotten your morning coffee, thought I'd read about you in your city's newspapers... oh the headlines "woman murders husband over lack of morning coffee."... LOL
I really need to stop with the inane comments, before I get censored.
No one censors the truth! That's exactly what the headlines would read. "Woman Under Arrest, Husband Found With Coffee Grinder In Forehead!"
