This is my first time taking this, and I'm nervous. What strength Lortab is this equal too?

Darvocet is the weakest opiate that is available and actually tests have shown that extra strength tylenol is more effective. However that doesn't mean that propoxyphene (Darvocet) should not be taken lightly as it is addictive and can be dangerous when mixed with booze and/or other drugs. Hydrocodone is not a whole lot stronger than propoxyphene but hydrocodone does effect the receptors differently giving some people a energetic high. Unfortunately this doesn't last long once you become addicted and after a few years you go from euphoria to dysphoria and deep depression.
Anyway, I got off track,sorry, the darvocet will take care of your pain. Just take it as prescribed... Good luck... Dave
