I know someone who has just started taking Darvocet and they're also taking other prescribed meds. SSRI's and BP/anxitey type meds. My research has lead me to a very bad combination. Basically, wondering if they are a "street drug" and the abuse potential, because i don't think they were prescribed.

If they are in the US, they weren't prescribed as they were pulled off the market for heart problem risk last year. They are addictive and darvocet is the wicked little step sister of heroin chemically, so, if they are taking anti anxiety meds such as xanax or valium, the combo is potentially lethal and the darvocet can cause heart attacks or heart ailments. They may have gotten them off the street, if you are not in the US, and you can still find out is they are available where you are, will you post that. We keep seeing posts on her about them and we have no idea how patients are getting them as they are now off the market.

Definately from U.S. All my research shows that lortab is more effective.
Lortab would be just as addictive as Darvocet. I'm not sure how this person is getting them because they were pulled from the market and pharmacies no longer carry them.
