I don't really know how the doctor could say that. Won't they have to do scans or something like that to see if the cancer is shrinking?

My husband is on votrient (like Nexavar) they told us the first few weeks will show if the meds can be tolerated. So far, my hubby is ok. few side effects. blood pressure, redness to hands and feet, some nausea. I would think they need a ct scan on your dad just to see if there has been an changes. i hope you had great results. please let me know
