I've been on Coumadin for three and a half months. Noticed some side effect itching and hive like rash that subsided a bit after a while. For the past four weeks I have been noticing more frequent bouts of chest pain, shortness of breath and times when my heart rate seems to really speed up [this usually happens with the shortness of breath].
I want to know what would happen if I stopped taking this drug for a while to see if these symptoms would stop. I did a lot better with just taking a low dose aspirin every day. I was considering going back on that and seeing what my Pro-time test results say the next time I go in for them. I get this the first Thursday of every month.
