My 8 yr old niece has been on Trileptal and has since been put on Ritalin in the past year. She only takes the Ritalin (as per prescribed by her doctor) when she is in school. She has not taken over it over the summer holiday. She has become severly obsessed with ideas and anything she thinks she has done wrong. For example if you tell her not to shrug her shoulders she will think and talk about it all day and ask all day "Did I just shrug my shoulders"? She is totally consumed with worry of some sort through out the day. Does anyone have any suggestions or thoughts? We are very worried about her and until she has her doctor's appointment we are trying to understand her. Thank you for any thoughts and ideas!
