Could the use of singulair paediatric montelukast decrease appetite in 18 month old child?

Yes, it could. Singulair can have the side effects of dyspepsia (which is just upset stomach) nausea and vomiting and diarrhea. The little one may just feel sick to their stomach and just doesnt want to eat and at that age they cant really verbalize that they feel sick so they will just not want to eat. Talk to your pediatrician or whomever is prescribing the medication.
