I've been using Nuva Ring for about 5 and half months now and I've always remove my ring on sundays of every third week and insert a new one in on the 5th or 6th day of my period.My partner and I have always used condoms during sex to just be on the "safe side" somewhat. My previous period was Mar. 26-29, 2010. It's the end of April 26-30 and my period has not started yet and I took a pregnancy test this morning and it was one solid little pink line (not pregnant) so I'm sitting around wondering what is wrong with my body while trying not to panic or stress my period off. Could the N. Ring cause a missed or delayed period? PLEASE HELP ME OUT.

Oh before I was on the N. Ring my periods were regular but chose it because its easier than remembering pills, gaining excess weight from the shots, and less evasive than the implants and IUD's. And TUBULAR LITIGATION :(

I would not worry, as long as you took the pregnancy test and it was negative. I bet your period will come in a few days, and you are just stressed out. Also, I suppose if you haven't been eating enough, or exercising too hard, that could cause it to be delayed or absent.
I have a friend on birth control pills that often doesn't get her period... it is annoying, because you end up taking a lot of pregnancy tests, but her doctor did not think it was a problem. If you're worried, you can give the nurse at your doctor's office a call, just to see what they say. If you miss another period, I'd definitely check in with the doc via a phone call. But really, I bet you're fine!

There are many reasons you could have a delayed or even missed period, whether you have had irregular or regular periods. Like rachey said, you could be stressed, overly active, or it could even be the ring?
But from what you've told us I highly doubt your pregnant and I wouldn't worry, especially if your pregnancy test was negative. Although if you are further concerned its not hard to call your gyno doc and talk to him/her. :) goodluck
