It's best to inquire at your local pharmacy ... they'll be able to give you the right price.

When I started taking Simponi in 2009 it was $1400. As of 01/01/2011 it was $1900. I get my scripts at Walgreens. But it may vary, I use the Auto-Inject. If you use the syringe it may be cheaper. The Simponi site had a promotional when it first came out, and you could get it for 6 months at $50 a shot. Then after that you had to fill out paper work to "qualify" for the med, and still pay $50 for 1 yr longer. They have an 800 # on their website. Call and talk to them, they had real good customer service when I talked to them.

I just priced it out for the syringe/not auto inject. In Boise, Idaho it is 2266.00 for 28 days +-3days 50 mg. It IS or HAS gone up since Obama Care; I have a simponi prescription card that pays 100% of my copay for 12 inj. Ask your doctor for the card or call Simponi. It was 40/copay in 2010... and now 100/copay 2011! Wow. I did just finish 1yr of Remicade. It was even more expensive and about as effective for me. You may be different. Good Luck in your quest. Did you by any chance suffer any breast tenderness with Simponi?
