Could prednisolone induce any autoimmune diseases if given for about 3 weeks?

I dunno if it would induce and disease but I do know that it does lower your body's ability to fight of infections and things of that sort.

Like the pp said, I also agree that it may supress the immune system so that you are more susceptible to other illness in that time, such as bacterial infections, viruses, etc.
