Iv been on the nuva ring for atleast 3 or 4 months and i started a new cycle ysterday and had sex today but the condom broke. should i be fone? or no? iv had people say its harder to get pregnant right after your period and its hard to when you have been on birth controle for a while. i was just ious and my boyfriends been freaking out.

You should be fine. Not pregnant. Of coarse I can't b sure but it's not probable. You had the Nuva ring in for a day already and a steady hormone is released from it- to not get pregnant. For the future tho- you ovulate once a month and only for a max of 2-3days you can get pregnant it's generally 12-14 days after your period. Good luck tho ;)

If you have been using the Nuva Ring for 3-4 months, you should be fine. Nuva ring prevents ovulation just the same as other birth control methods so you are protected even during the week that it is out for your period. As long as you are using it correctly and dont deviate from your regimen you are protected against pregnancy. Just be sure that you are not late in putting it in after your off week. No worries-you are fine!
