Hi, I have been using YAZ for 18 months, now I wish to conceive. I wanted to know how long does it takes for the medication to wash out from the system, and when can I conceive after stopping YAZ?

Every woman is different, but when I came off birth control, I wasn't able to get pregnant for almost 3 months. That is just because I did not return to my normal cycle right away. You should notice when you start to ovulate. When this starts, your chances of getting pregnant will increase, if you are fertile.
Some women return to normal cycling with no problem, others take sometime to resume normal cycling. You can't predict what will happen because as you say, all women are different. Here's baby dust to you!
