They are the same.
Mirapex is the brand name for Pramipexole.
Pramipexole is the active ingredient in Mirapex.

Generic versions of Mirapex have been evaluated by the FDA and all have been assigned an "AB" code. This means that the generic versions are therapeutically the same as Mirapex. They differ only in tablet formulation ingredients eg fillers, binders, dyes etc.
