Should Dexamethasone Sodim Phosphate be used to treat upper respiratory tract infection?

Dexamethasone is an anti-inflammatory steroid. It can help treat symptoms of inflammation in more serious repiratory tract infections eg. cough due to inflammed trachea or bronchioles. It can also help to reduce mucous and wheezing.
