take ibuprofen again. Will Naproxen cause the same side affects? I am not suppose to take aspirin because I am taking Depakote (right?) and doesn't Tylenol cause longterm problems too? What can I take for severe neck and back pain that I have suffered with for 30 some years?

Kaismama is right as always. I can't take any anti-inflammation meds either because of my kidney failure. And I have severe pain which can be treated with other meds. In the meantime before you can get some meds, you can always take acetaminophen. But be careful of the dose because in higher doses it can cause liver damage. And Kaismama is right to direct you to a pain management clinic.
