Cleaning the inhaler: Do I remove the container from the holder?

Take apart the inhaler completly and soak it in really hot soapy water not to much soap(dish soap)just enough to clean it though. Thouroughly clean the inhaler rinse and air dry in dish rack. Yes be sure you do remove the medicine from the inhaler container. Hope this helped my son has one so i have to do this for him at least once a week.
