Will somas show up in a drug test?

I was currently in an PIA (Plea in Abeyance) program. I had to do a UA once a week for a whole year! They only look for controlled substances and illicit drugs. Carisoprodol will NOT show up on a drug screen test. They usually test of Alcohol, Benzodiazepines, Opiates/Opioids, Barbituates, PCP, Marijuana, Steroids. Carisprodol not being a controlled substance (At least in Utah) It depends on where you live. Search on Wikipedia for Carisoprodol. It will give you a list of the states that consider it a controlled substance. In the case that it is illegal in your state they might test for it. If your state doesn't have it under the controlled substructure act you're fine :) Good Luck

it may also benefit you to tell the nurse before the test of any over the counter scripts in case they do show up.I do know that DOT testing only test for the above mentioned drugs.
