hello everyone. well here goes. its 1:00 am and cant sleep. the medicines im taking is robaxin,meloxicam and celexa. i have Lupus and severe depression. what can i ask the doctor to take to help me sleep w/o feeling droggy the next day? also what is a good diet pill to take with the meditions im taking? my doctor perscribed topomaz omg i was walking around like a flipping zombie. he gave this to me to help me lose weight. i got off of it quickly.

Have you tried Melatonin? Tis an all natural product that can be purchased at any pharmacy. I'm sure you have tried it, looking at your username I bet you've also tried Valerian root too!
I don't know squat about diet pills, so can't help you there. But insomnia and I are well acquainted. Have you tried Benadryl? That is the mean ingredient in Tylenol PM. Diphenhydramine.
There are RX meds like Ambien, Silenor and Lunesta you could try. But those usually (in my experience) only afford about four hours of sleep, sigh!
Keep trying, don't give up!! There will be something that works for you.

Xanax will help you get a good nights sleep. I have been taking it since 1994 for just that reason. Good luck to you. I have a question for you too tho'. Do you think your lupus made you gain wieght? I have it too, & can't seem to lose the 20 or so pounds I have gained since I quit smoking 7 years ago. Almost makes me want to start smoking again, & don't want to do that! Thanks...
