Sodium chloride inhalation is not normally used to treat asthma.

My docotor recomments sodium chloride inhalation solution (4 ml, 7% solution) once a day for my asthma, COPD and lung damage from radiation from breast cance. I find it very helpful. He has other patients who swim in the ocean during warm weather on a daily basis who seem to find the impact of the "salt water" breathing is most helpful.
