I recently had my 3rd infusion and the nurse asked me if my doctor has spoken to me about not taking more than 3 infusions, He hasn't. I understand that the tests on reclast were followed-up for only 3 years and there is no information about it's usefulness beyond that time.

I realize this answer is very, very late ... but may be of use in future.
I couldn't find any information on the benefits of using Reclast for more than 3 years or it is routinely used for more than 3 years. All information states studies have been done up to 3 years. I think there are risks of using it for longer and it needs to be used with caution.
