I have been on HCTZ, but it's not controlling the high bp anymore, plus it seems to make my glucose levels higher. Thanks.

I realize this answer is very late ... but may help someone in future.
Azor can also elevate blood sugar levels but if your doctor monitors it and adjusts your medicines appropriately you can still take Azor if you have diabetes.
